Brief History

The Master’s Program in Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, was established following the issuance of an operational license through the Decree of the Minister of National Education No. 234/U/2000 dated December 20, 2000, and further supported by a permit from the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) No. 108/DIKTI/Kep/2001. Initially, the program was managed under the Postgraduate School of Universitas Trisakti when it was first established in 2001. Since 2005, the management of the program has been transferred to the Faculty of Industrial Technology, and it currently operates based on the operational license issued by DIKTI through Decree No. 9531/D/T/K-III/2011.

The Master’s Program in Industrial Engineering aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes of its graduates. The program is designed to equip students with advanced-level expertise and a deep understanding of industrial engineering concepts, enabling them to solve complex industrial problems in an era characterized by rapid technological advancement and intense global competition.

Based on the Accreditation Certificate issued by the Independent Accreditation Board for Engineering Study Programs (LAM Teknik), No. 0091/SK/LAM Teknik/AM/VIII/2022, the Master’s Program in Industrial Engineering has been awarded an accreditation status of “Excellent” (Baik Sekali). This accreditation is valid from August 21, 2022, to August 20, 2027.
